The 4th of July was super busy for us this year. Our morning started bright and early when Callan decided to wake up at 5:45am! So we went out to my in-law's ward at 7:45am for a pancake breakfast. We can home and all took a nap. After Callan woke up we headed over to Mark's Aunt and Uncle's house for a BBQ and some swimming. If you remember we took Callan to the splash pad a few days prior to this and he hated every minute of it. So we were not exactly sure if he would love the pool or not. But he LOVED it!
We got home later that we were planning but that's ok. we got Callan ready for bed in hopes that he would atleast get some sleep before fireworks started. It was horrible! The fireworks around us were so loud that he would wake up EVERY SINGLE TIME one of he went off. And they didn't stop till after midnight! Needless to say we didn't get much sleep that night.
All in all it was a great 4th of July! Thank you to all the men and women who fight for our country. It is a hard job not only for those who are in the military but also on their families. Thank you for your sacrifice.
